Chulilla and the hanging bridges

About this tour

Discover one of the most beautiful corners of the Valencian Community, just 60 km from the city of Valencia. The Chulilla enclave and its white houses are well worth a visit, but beyond the village, there are places of unique natural beauty that you can explore through hiking.

The plan is to follow the hiking route popularly known as the route of the hanging bridges. Along this route, you can admire the canyon of the Turia River with walls over 80 meters high, cross the famous hanging bridges, or enjoy the views of the Charco azul “Blue Pool” or the Loriguilla reservoir.

After the hike, you’ll have the opportunity to explore different places and of course, have a drink in the village.

Hike description

This is a linear route of about 8 km. The elevation gain and loss for this route is around 500m. The route has quite a few steps once you reach the first bridge (as shown in the photos). It is an easy hike but it requires minimal experience due to the elevation and the need to ascend and descend numerous steps. It is not suitable for individuals with a fear of heights. It´s possible to do a shorter hike of only 4km. Contact us if you need more information.
