Chulilla and the hanging bridges

About this tour

Discover one of the most beautiful corners of the Valencian Community, just 60 km from the city of Valencia. The Chulilla enclave and its white houses are well worth a visit, but beyond the village, there are places of unique natural beauty that you can explore through hiking.

The plan is to follow the hiking route popularly known as the route of the hanging bridges. Along this route, you can admire the canyon of the Turia River with walls over 80 meters high, cross the famous hanging bridges, or enjoy the best views of the Charco azul “Blue Pool”.

After the hike, you’ll have the opportunity to take a stroll through the village, visit the castle, or have a drink in the town.

Includes round-trip transportation from Valencia, tour leader throughout the day, photos of the day, civil liability and accident insurance.

Does not include lunch. We will have lunch midway through the route, each participant is responsible for bringing their own food.

Hike description

This is a linear route of about 8 km. The elevation gain and loss for this route is around 500m. The route has quite a few steps once you reach the first bridge (as shown in the photos). It is an easy hike but it requires minimal experience due to the elevation and the need to ascend and descend numerous steps. It is not suitable for individuals with a fear of heights.

A minimum of 4 people for the excursion to take place.

Free cancellation more than two days before the day of the excursion.

50% refund for cancellations 2 days before the day of the excursion.

No refund for cancellations the day before the excursion or no-shows the day of the excursion.

In case of adverse weather conditions or not reaching the minimum number of participants, a full refund.
